A scenic ride down a small, backcountry road lead us to a truly one of a kind Texas photoshoot location. Nestled in the small town of Pleasanton, Ashley and Daniel’s country home created the perfect all natural, rural backdrop for some gorgeous engagement portraits. As we came up the drive, we noticed an old saw mill, a large metal windmill, and a rusty old tractor with such a stunning natural patina that we couldn’t help but snap a few pics! You couldn’t take more than a handful of steps without running into another unique photo opportunity. After scanning the property, we couldn’t help but notice an empty field that was begging to get in on the photo action. Little did we know that someone else wanted in on the fun. As we posed, kissed, and laughed; a visitor we lovingly dubbed “Moo Moo;” came to steal the show for a few shots. After she felt her good side was captured, she let us be and had a few choice words for a water bottle that stood in her way. The sun was setting and the winds grew stronger, but we weren’t ready to call it a day just yet. Let’s be honest: nothing beats a stunning Texas sunset!
